After sharing their stories on YouTube and their individual blogs, students reflect (on their individual blogs) on the additional learning they gained from viewing their peers’ work. Student samples: Max, Sean, Jimmy, Aim.

Grade 6: Digital Storytelling as Final Assessment in Humanities: Students create multimedia digital stories to demonstrate their understanding of Early Humans. Through the use of Creative Commons images, basic photo editing, and PhotoStory 3, students organized and share their learning over the course of the unit.
