1 YouTube Channels:

  • Bethany Motta is an American video blogger from Los Banos, California. Starting with her YouTube channel, Macbarbie07, created in 2009, she rose to fame for her haul videos, in which she shows her fashion purchases via the internet.
  • Michelle Phan is an American make-up demonstrator and entrepreneur who became notable as a YouTube personality.[6] Phan’s YouTube channel has over 7.9 million subscribers, 1.1 billion lifetime views,[7] and 350 uploaded videos.[
  • Rosanna Pansino: (born June 8, 1985)[1][2] is an American baker, actress, and YouTube personality. She is best known for her nerdy-themed cooking show Nerdy Nummies, one of the most popular baking shows on YouTube.
  • Pewdiepie: born on 24 October 1989), better known by his online alias PewDiePie (/ˈpjuːdipaɪ/ //**pyoo**-dee-pahy//), is a Swedish web-based comedian and producer, best known for his Let’s Play commentaries and vlogs on YouTube.

  • Jack and Jack: is an American pop-rap duo from Omaha, Nebraska, consisting of Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, who are now based in Los AngelesCalifornia. After success via the social media app Vine, the duo turned to a career as musicians.[1] They are best known for their 2014 single “Wild Life” which has peaked to number 2 on iTunes and to number 87 on the US //Billboard//Hot 100.[2] Both attended Omaha Westside High School.[3
  • Zach King – Zach King (age 25) is an American Vine star, film-maker and YouTube personality based in Los Angeles. He is most known for his “magic vines” – six-second videos digitally edited to show as if he is doing magic. He calls his videos “digital sleight of hand”.

  • Kaiasays: Daughter of Jabiz Raisdana (UWC teacher), manager of her own YouTube Channel and Twitter account. Kaia is in elementary school and regularly shares her creations online.
  • Jamie’s World – The 16-year-old from Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand started the Facebook page Jamie’s World in July 2012. Since Christmas that same year, half a million people have joined “Jamie’s World“, which now spreads across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
  • What does it mean to be in Grade 7?: A grade 7 English project inviting students to reflect on their experience as 12-year olds using YouTube capture and editor to create and edit all videos together – even though they were created by individual students.
