For Parents

Kim MSD Parent NightIt’s not easy parenting in the digital age. Our children are spending a lot more time online, in spaces that are highly engaging, than we ever did, and many parents are not sure how to handle all that screen time – let alone deal with social issues that come up in social media spaces.

As a teacher who spends quite a bit of time online, as well as with students and parents from schools all around the world, I have a unique insight into what’s happening in those social spaces, and what parents should be thinking about, talking about, and acting on, with and for their children.

If you’re interested in learning more about how to support your children in the digital age, I have lots of resources for you!

Here are some great blog posts I’ve written that highlight successful parenting strategies, as well as what’s happening in a variety of schools around the world.

All of my blog posts about parenting can be found here. Some of my favorites are below:

Here is my Parenting in the Digital Age Flipboard magazine – this is where I share all of the articles I think parents will find relevant, engaging and useful – all handpicked just for you!
